Gerstung Lab
Summary¶
The Gerstung Lab (Division of AI in Oncology) is a computational biology and machine learning research group led by Dr. Moritz Gerstung at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, Germany, with joint affiliations at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL-EBI). The lab develops statistical models and deep learning frameworks to understand cancer evolution, analyze spatial transcriptomics and histopathology, and model multi-disease progression trajectories in human populations.
